《 Wisdom for breakthrough comes from Systems Thinking 》 If we can find a way of making sense of the complexity of our body by looking at it in terms of wholes and relationships rather than by splitting it down into its parts. We should be able to use this way of exploring and developing effective action in complex contexts to discover the so called “leverage points”! What is systems thinking? Systems thinking is a way of exploring and developing effective action by looking at connected wholes rather than separate parts. Systems thinking is a powerful approach to support evidence based decision making and is essential to successful delivery of complex projects where there are many many possible solutions. Within systems thinking there are the following key concepts to guide us to new understanding of our body: Elements – Parts, wholes and layers. All systems are similar. For example they have an environment, sub-systems and interactions. Understanding of bas...

《 The mistake of chasing after the manifesting events 》 Obstacle II It’s not that the simple things are hidden. It’s that our attention is drawn to things above the surface we assume make the biggest difference. For example when our body react to danger with “ stress response” , t he blood vessels that direct blood to the large muscles and the heart expand to prepare the sudden demand of blood supply , thereby increasing the amount of blood pumped to these parts of the body and elevating blood pressure . In an emergency situation, this ensures a rapid supply of energy to the muscles. This is well known as the fight or flight response. There are the symptoms of stress response lighting up like fireworks above the surface. There are also stress response from the inner mechanism hidden below the surface. We pay more attention to the surface events such as increasing heart rate and blood pressure , less about how breathing quickens, muscles tighten still go on after...

《  Oversight  of not seeing the big picture  costs us big time   》 Obstacle I Though The ways we look at our body are so diversified yet most of us tend to think of our brain as center of spiritual activities and we have gone a long way to decode the neurological patterns of emotions within. Most of us think of physical body is relatively materialistic existence composed of mechanical parts of tissues and organs. For example years of anatomy has shown us the muscles are merely the source of physical force of mechanical contraction and extension. Not only we non-experts has little attention to the messages hidden in the form of the tissues. The focus of modern physical therapy and body training is the mechanical aspect of how set of muscles working together, mainly in the reciprocal inhibition relationship and tension integrity ( even the combo of tension + integrity word  "tensegrity" structure becomes a very popular term in modern revised an...

Summary of the main series of articles on this blog: Obsession with the obvious leads to missing the big picture costs us big time! The mistake of chasing after the manifesting events which capture all our attention Leverage points are P oints of Power usually hidden under the water Traditionally The enlightened masters pass on the lineage teachings to the disciples by two categories : in traditional terms, teachings of the  wisdom  and teachings of the  methods . Identify the Leverage Points through Systems Thinking <wisdom> Elementary Physics enough to understand Our body as a whole of Matter & Energy structure of interconnected parts <wisdom> This integrated view of matter and energy will propel modern medicine to new height, at the same times, help us unleash the true potential of old school technique such as Natural remedies, Yoga, QiGong, TaiChi and Physical therapy.   <methods> Conclusion By looking...

“ Leaverage to Complete Healing” – The Journey of Finding the Keys to unlock the Ancient Secrets <Preface> Our body system has two main dynamic operations complimenting each other working hand in hand. One has to do with blood the other has to do with water shifting phases. At physical level, Blood carries the air, nutrition and waste for metabolism so circulation efficiency is the key and different phase of water are necessary to complements this process to help moving the blood and acting as a perimeter protection layer. Some of us believe modern science and medicine  have grown  by   leaps   and   bounds  over the last two hundred years. Yet Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are still the leading cause of death globally . An estimated 17.9 million people died from CVDs in 2019, representing 32% of all global deaths. Of these deaths, 85% were due to heart attack and stroke. Over three quarters of CVD deaths take place in low- and middle-inco...
